Why do healthcare professionals spend years learning how to respond in emergencies, while families are often expected to figure it out in the moment?
That question stayed with me throughout my career.
As a doctoral-prepared nurse leader, professor, clinician, and educator, I've spent years helping people develop the knowledge, judgment, and confidence needed to perform when it matters most. Along the way, I realized that the same evidence-based teaching strategies used to prepare healthcare professionals could help families feel more confident, too.
That realization became the foundation for SafeSprout.
SafeSprout was created to make high-quality safety education more accessible, practical, and empowering for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and communities. Every class is intentionally designed to transform complex healthcare knowledge into clear, actionable skills that can be used in everyday life.
